I took the time to finally try Chat GPT and Github Copilot, and I now feel much better about it. I don’t think anyone needs to be concerned of AI replacing them anytime soon. I do however think that these tools, can be a much more efficient means of Googling for information. I installed GPT4all locally inside a virtual machine that has no internet access. This means I can use it to search for information without any privacy concerns and I don’t have to deal with advertisements, spam or bad articles. It works about 75% of the time and doesn’t require an internet connection.
